I trained with Kay Trotter, the founder of EPIC, equine partners in counseling, a well known and respected therapist in the world of equine assisted therapy. I feel blessed everyday for my education and experiences.”

Tatum is a licensed professional counselor, registered play therapist and founder of Kidlife. She is a member of the Association for Play Therapy. She has clinical experience with children, adolescents, and adults in private practice as well as in university, mental health settings, equine assisted programs, and an adult psychiatric setting. Tatum has had the privilege to have worked with, but not limited to, trauma, hospitalization for critical illness, anxieties, insomnia, adoption, survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and a wide variety of mental health concerns. Tatum has experience with facilitating a variety of groups including parenting groups. Tatum earned her Master of Education in Counseling at the University of North Texas where she studied at the largest play therapy training program in the world. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Her clinical specialties include play therapy, animal assisted therapy, and biofeedback. Tatum thrives on the outdoors enjoying running, hiking, and skiing especially. She has a passion for life and helping others to enjoy life and restore balance.

Corinne Schuele MA

Corinne Schuele, Child PsychotherapistExtern, Child Psychotherapist

Corinne is a registered psychotherapist and is currently working towards her licensed professional counselor credential. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University and a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from Naropa University.

Her past clinical experience includes attachment-based family therapy and working with elders challenged by mental health issues and dementia-related illnesses. She has also worked with bereaved children, both individually and in a group setting, along with providing support to their families. Her clinical training has been enhanced by several years of elementary school teaching in Málaga, Spain which helped her discover her passion for assisting in early childhood development. She uses a client-centered approach to psychotherapy and incorporates mindfulness into her practice.

Corinne feels honored to work in a field that gives her the opportunity to witness a person’s growth and empowerment. She is a certified yoga instructor and enhances her own personal growth through continued learning, spending time in nature, and painting. Most importantly though, she LOVES to play !
